public interface MultipartUploadInitializeManager

Manager interface for multipart upload initialization operations. Handles calling initialize() on the object and generating the upload ID.

Initializes a multipart upload for the given object and returns a unique upload ID.

Parameters:

objectId - the target object id

format - the content format

fileLength - total length in bytes of the file being uploaded

filePath - path of the file in the client machine from where the upload is being initiated

totalParts - total number of parts the file will be split into

fileChecksum - optional checksum of the whole file

Returns:

the unique upload ID for this multipart upload

Throws:

com.documentum.fc.common.DfException - if there is an error initializing the multipart upload
